Otamatone - Electronic Musical instrument from Japan

This musical instrument is shaped as a musical note. You control the pitch of the sound by sliding your finger up and down a ribbon strip that runs along the stem of the instrument. You can add wah wah effect by pressing the side of the base which is in the shape of smiley face.

The otamatone is easy to play and so you dont need to have any musical experience although having a good ear will help you to pitch the notes more accurately.  The otamatone is already becoming a growing craze worldwide
